Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Shannon Garrison, operating as Livin Digital ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with Alienz: Planetfall (the "Game") and related support. Our address is 112 Titus Valley Rd, Hiawassee, GA 30546, United States. This policy applies specifically to the Game, not our other apps.
1. Information stored on your device
The Game stores information needed to continue play, including your level, resources, upgrades, evolution, unlocked regions, mission progress, game statistics, save timestamps, and sound preference. This information is stored in the Game’s local app storage. It is not uploaded to a Livin Digital gameplay server, linked to a player account, or used by us to build an advertising profile.
The Game does not provide a Livin Digital cloud-save or cross-device synchronization service. Your operating system may include app data in device backups or device transfers, depending on your settings and its policies. Those services are controlled by your device or backup provider, not by us.
2. Information we do not collect through gameplay
The Game does not require registration and does not ask you to submit your name, email address, date of birth, contacts, precise location, photos, camera recordings, or microphone recordings. It does not contain ads, in-app purchases, third-party gameplay analytics, an advertising identifier integration, or an integrated crash-reporting service.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not conduct targeted advertising or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using your gameplay information.
3. Menu artwork and network requests
The current version requests a decorative main-menu image from images.unsplash.com. When an image is requested rather than loaded from a local cache, Unsplash and its delivery providers receive the information needed to handle that internet request, including your IP address and potentially request headers, device or software information, and the time of the request. They may keep technical logs under their own policies.
We use this request to display artwork, not to send your saved progress, account information, or advertising identifiers. Core gameplay and local saving do not depend on this image; the artwork may be unavailable without a connection. See the Unsplash Privacy Policy. We do not control the provider’s independent handling or retention of request data.
4. App stores, payment, and device services
Your upfront purchase, download, updates, purchase history, and any refund are handled by the app store where you obtained the Game. We do not receive your complete payment-card details through the Game. A store may make sales, transaction, refund, or diagnostic reports available to us under its developer services and your device or store settings; those are separate from tracking built into the Game.
Apple, Google, and your operating-system or backup provider process information under their own policies. See Apple’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy, as applicable. Manage purchase, backup, and diagnostic-sharing choices through the relevant provider.
5. Information you provide when contacting us
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to include, such as a screenshot, device model, or purchase reference. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information. Support is optional and is not required to play.
We use correspondence to answer requests, troubleshoot reported issues, resolve purchase questions, keep necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. Our email provider processes those messages to deliver and store them. We do not use support correspondence for targeted advertising.
6. Visiting our website
This policy is hosted on GitHub Pages. Visiting the website is separate from playing the Game. GitHub states that it logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. See the GitHub Privacy Statement. These policy pages do not include advertising scripts, analytics scripts, or tracking pixels added by Livin Digital. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own practices.
7. Purposes, legal bases, and disclosure
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we handle support and necessary purchase-related information to respond to your requested service or perform our agreement, for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business and resolving issues, or to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We disclose information we hold only as needed to providers that support the relevant service, to advisers handling a dispute or legal obligation, when legally required, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, or safety. We do not upload your local gameplay save to those providers. The independent activities of the artwork, app-store, device, and website providers are described separately above.
8. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Your save stays in local app storage until you reset or remove it. To reset gameplay, use New Game on the main menu and confirm Erase & Restart. This replaces your gameplay progress; it does not necessarily erase every app setting, cached image, or device backup. To remove local app data, use your operating system’s app-data controls or uninstall the Game. Backups and restored copies must be managed separately with your backup provider.
We cannot remotely access, recover, or delete a save held only on your device. Resetting or uninstalling does not cancel a store purchase or automatically delete an email you sent us.
We retain support correspondence and other information we actually hold only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described, including resolving follow-up issues and meeting applicable legal, accounting, or dispute-related obligations. You may request deletion by emailing us. If an obligation prevents deletion, we will explain the applicable reason to the extent permitted by law.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, appeal a decision on a request, or complain to your local data-protection authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Contact us at the address below to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your request, but please do not send government identification unless specifically needed and requested. If we hold no information about you or cannot identify device-only data, we will explain that. Requests concerning a store account, device backup, or another provider’s independent records should also be directed to that provider.
10. Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under any higher age where applicable law requires parental consent, through support or other direct submissions. Children should not send us identifying information without a parent or guardian’s involvement. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as required by law. App-store content and age ratings are separate from this privacy statement.
11. Security and international processing
Protect your device and any backups using the security features provided by your operating system. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
We are based in the United States. Support correspondence and information handled by the providers described above may be processed in the United States or other countries, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards for information we control, we will use the required safeguards. A provider’s independent processing is governed by its own policy and applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Game, our practices, or the law. We will update the date above and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law before materially different processing begins. A policy update does not by itself change the behavior of an older installed offline version of the Game.
